combines the Entertainer Band of the Year, the
Grascals, and Female Vocalist of the Year, Dale Ann
Bradley on harmony, with Ashley’s exquisite vocals and
fiery mandolin style to create pure bluegrass bliss.
"Here I Stand" recently went nationwide across the
airwaves on The Bluegrass Radio Network. Known for
her vocals and dynamic mandolin and fiddle
performances, Ashley is also a profound songwriter,
and this skill is demonstrated on her new album. On
the highly anticipated release of the full album, ten of
the thirteen tracks were written and co-written by
Ashley, revealing this incredibly inspirational and
impressive album.

Ashley's first release, Past Presence, connects the bluegrass music of today with the songs and
lives of past generations from the mountains and hollows of Kentucky and is expressed and
delivered by Ashley Lewis, daughter, great-grand daughter, and great-great-grand daughter of
those mountain people. Three of the six originals were influenced by her ancestors or the lands on
which they lived. The title song, "Past Presence," is the inspirational story of Ashley and her
great-grandparents. From the diverse originals, including the haunting lonesome sound on,
"Sterett's Last Run," to the fresh approach on bluegrass standards, Past Presence delivers a
distinctive bluegrass sound with smooth harmonies and exceptional instrumentation.
This album features other musicians, Doug Knecht, Danny Pitney, Jeff Midkiff and Jan Lewis.
